1.Project Profile

Shekou Fishing Port, a national first-class fishing port, is a historical witness and epitome of the urban development in Shenzhen. It experienced several changes and bears memory of many Shenzhen people. Along with the construction of the Free Trade Zone, the implementation of the Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and the completion of the Shenzhen Bay Coastal Leisure Zone, Shekou has taken on a new look. To continue the special context of Shekou Fishing Port and increase the diversity and experience level of the urban cultural spaces, it is planned to solicit excellent design proposals through international competition to upgrade the fishing port as a whole, making it an attractive business card of cultural development in Shenzhen.
