As the Mid-Autumn Festival and China National Day are approaching, AIMIR CG would like to share our holiday schedule with our clients and partners around the world.
These two holidays are important occasions in China. They are also a time for people to take a break, spend time with family, and enjoy traditional celebrations.
Holiday Schedule
Our office will be closed during the following holiday periods:
- Mid-Autumn Festival: September 25–27
- National Day: October 1–7
We will return to work on September 28 after the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday and on October 8 after the National Day holiday.
About the Mid-Autumn Festival
The Mid-Autumn Festival, 中秋节(zhōng qiū jié), is celebrated on the 15th day of the eighth month of the Chinese lunar calendar. It is traditionally a time for family reunion.
The full moon is one of the most important symbols of the festival. Its round shape represents completeness and togetherness. People often enjoy mooncakes, admire the moon, carry lanterns, and solve lantern riddles with family and friends.
The festival also carries wishes for happiness, peace, and reunion.
About China National Day
China National Day is celebrated on October 1 every year. It marks the founding of the People’s Republic of China in 1949.
The National Day holiday is one of the longest public holidays in China. Many people use this time to travel, visit family and friends, or simply enjoy a relaxing break.
Cities and public spaces are often decorated with flowers and national flags, creating a festive atmosphere across the country.
